Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

The verses leading up to this are comparing worldly to heavenly wisdom, earthly to Godlike wisdom. Just acknowledge that God has knowledge of your plans - he put them there. So when a plan starts to come out of you, in whatever form it takes. ACT. Take action to move towards that. You know what you need to do right now, today, or for this weekend. When you know what needs to be done. Do it. Follow through.
