Bible Passage: John 20:30-31 & John 21:1-7
===========================
QUESTIONS
1. What did Jesus focus on when He was on earth? Performing miracles? Explain. Why were the Apostles given the powers to perform miracles. What does Jesus call believers to focus on now when it comes to evangelising the lost souls? Show with Bible verses. - 3:40
2. Power Evangelism (third wave of Charismatism) teaches people to depend on “the supernatural power and gifts of the Holy Spirit to reach new converts”. What did Jesus do in Mark 1:44; John 5:13, 6:15? Why? Are you doing what He commands? Why? - 29:10
3. How do you answer those who claim, “because of the ‘miraculous healings’, my family/friend believed in Christianity and goes to church now”. - 41:25
4. How do you answer those who rebuke you, “you should not say tongues speaking and miracles are false today because you are blaspheming the Holy Ghost who is working through these”? - 48:36
5. How do you answer those who use Mark 6:5 (cf Matt 13:58) claim that people are not healed because of their lack of faith in Jesus? Give Bible examples. - 53:52
6. In chapter 21, how did the disciple in v7 and also those in v12 know it was the Lord Jesus who called out to them and meeting them (cf Lu 5:8-11)? What do we learn about the risen Lord Jesus here? - 1:10:37

Bible Passage: John 20:30-31
30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
John 21:1-7
1 After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.
2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
