When did you decide to believe in Jesus? We know that faith in Jesus is so important, and we hear Christian focusing on deciding, accepting, opening up our hearts to Jesus. There's just one problem. That's not what Jesus said! Instead, Jesus spoke these comforting words to his disciples: "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit - fruit that will last" (John 15:16). You don't choose Jesus. Jesus chose you! Our life of faith doesn't depend on our power or decision, it depends on Jesus. Take comfort in this today and everyday: Jesus chose you!
