Today we are going to learn from a book in the Bible written by the apostle, follower and witness of Jesus whose name was John. In chapter 1 verses 1-3 we read: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made.

In verse 1 what does it mean "In the beginning”? It means in the creation of the world. In verse 2 it says: "He was in the beginning with God" Who is he? Jesus. It means that Jesus was with God in the creation of the world. With this in mind let's read verse 1 again: "In the beginning was Jesus and Jesus was with God and Jesus was God.

This is the title of our message, “Jesus is God”.
In verse 3 we read that all things were made through Jesus and without Jesus nothing was made that was made… If you are like many of us you certainly have one or more of the following questions:
- Does God exist?
- Can I hear God's voice?

We find the answer to these questions in the letter that Paul, a follower and an apostle of Jesus wrote to the church of Colossae around the year 60, where in chapter 1 verse 15 the Bible states the following:
“Jesus is the image of the invisible God!”
So, if you look at Jesus' life and teachings, you can get to know God personally.
The question then for you is this:
- What are you going to do now, knowing that Jesus is God?
You may choose to accept or reject a personal relationship with God through Jesus. If your will is to begin this relationship, invite Him to come into your life by saying this prayer: Lord Jesus I confess I am a sinner. Please come into my life. Forgive my sins. I'm yours. Be my Lord and Savior. Help me God, to follow You all the days of my life. In Jesus name. Amen.

If you said this prayer and believed with all your heart, the Bible declares that you are saved from eternal condemnation. That you have eternal life, and now you are part of God's family. This is just the beginning of your walk with Jesus. Get connected with a good Bible-based church, talk to God in prayer without ceasing and read the Bible daily.
