"I don't think that the people in his town would've called him very nice names. They would've had a lot of negative, cynical, harsh names that I think they would've whispered under their breath every time he walked past. It could've been the first time he's heard his name for a while. But Jesus calls people by their name.
Come on. He knows your name. He sees your pain. Yeah. He sees what you're walking through. And I love the fact that that name Zacchaeus means pure and innocent. It wasn't the life that he was yet living, but Jesus saw through his mess and saw through to the potential. Jesus didn't see his sin, but He saw his spirit man, and He called out what was in him, and He said, "Son, I call you pure and innocent." Yeah.
I, I love the fact that Jesus does not require perfect conditions to move."
