Jesus is our hope because:

God is always faithful to His promises. (Heb 2:14, 17; 1 Pet 1:18-20)
He came to fight our enemy. (Heb 2:14; 1 Jn 3:8)
He came to free us from our sin. (Heb 2:15; 9:26-27)
He came to forgive us of our sin. (Heb 2:17; 9:28a)
He came to fasten our future glory. (Heb 9:28b; Rev 22:20)
