What does it look like to trust God when everything is out of your control? In this Mother's Day message, Pastor Robert walks through the story of Jochebed — the mother of Moses — and shows how one woman's extraordinary faith in an impossible situation became the foundation for one of the greatest lives in all of Scripture. Drawn from Exodus 2:1-10, this sermon is a powerful reminder that the work faithful mothers do — even when no one is watching — is never wasted in God's eyes.

What You'll Learn:

Jochebed faced a government death sentence against her newborn son. Yet by faith, she hid him, built an ark of bulrushes, and placed him in the Nile River — trusting God with what she could no longer hold. This message is organized around three movements every faithful mother makes:

1. Biblical Moms Act (Exodus 2:1-2) — How Jochebed walked by faith even in the darkest times, saw her son through the eyes of God, and took the next step before the full plan was revealed.

3. Biblical Moms Receive (Exodus 2:5-10) — How God's providence moved through Pharaoh's own daughter to return the child to his mother's arms, and why the years a mother has with a child before the world gets to him are the years that determine everything.
