John 15:12
"This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you."

Loving one another is really the principle commandment. It is what everything else is then built on, or rather builds up to. It's the top of the biblical growth chart. If you practice love and kindness to others - all of the rest of the virtues will fall into place. (The virtues being, Faith, Goodness, Knowledge, Self-Control, Perseverance, Godliness, Brotherly Affection, and LOVE)

And this, LOVE, is something Jesus is commanding of us, it is imperative, and it is to be deliberate to love each other. We are not talking about romantic or Hollywood style love, it's not a perfect feeling. The command is to have a true, genuine and deep caring for others, have some humanity and godliness, faith, just as Jesus had loved those around him.
