Bill Johnson teaches how to find joy in God’s promises. The wise men rejoiced with exceedingly great joy when they saw the star; they rejoiced before they had even seen the promised Christ. We have the same opportunity to experience joy when we hear God’s promises because we trust His goodness. To those who are struggling with fear or doubt, Isaiah 35 teaches us to encourage one another not to fear, because God has promised to fight on our behalf. The hope of Christ is for everyone. There is not one thing that we will ever face that He did not provide for on the Cross. Jesus came to reveal the Father and His great love for us. Because of His love we can trust in His goodness and live with hope, peace, and great joy.
