Numbers 6:1-6 - When either a man or a woman makes a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to the Lord, he shall separate himself from wine and strong drink. He shall drink no vinegar made from wine or strong drink and shall not drink any juice of grapes or eat grapes, fresh or dried..."All the days of his vow of separation, no razor shall touch his head..."All the days that he separates himself to the Lord he shall not go near a dead body.
Psalms 34:18-19 - The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Because of His great mercy, God may intervene even when we haven't asked for it or expected it.

Exodus 15:11 - "Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?
Revelation 19:4-5 - And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, "Amen. Hallelujah!" And from the throne came a voice saying, "Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, small and great."

Do not allow what we do for God interfere with being in His holy presence through prayer and worship.

Exodus 33:20 - "But,"[the LORD] said, "you cannot see my face, for man shall not see me and live."
Matthew 1:21 - She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 - So we do not lose heart, Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us and eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Though we may seem to have lost control, God will renew all things and His grace will sustain you.
