We're a nation of immigrants. We've been built upon policies of immigration, and our policies today will inform and define our future. We can do it in an orderly, legal process. Counseling millions of people to do something illegally as a means of joining our nation is a very bad precedent to establish, and we have some judges helping illegal immigrants evade arrest. If you want to set aside the law, you give complete license to lawlessness.
