Continuing our time in our sermon series called, “Faith in times of…”, we walk through a few moments of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark. Jesus in Mark 5 encounters the difficulty of disease and illness, even to the point of death. And yet, Jesus doesn’t seem to be so urgent about responding to Jairus. He stops in the middle of a large group of people to figure out who touched His garment. Why would Jesus stop for such a (arguably) minor moment? Then again, what is the approach to Jesus to illness – and what is He capable of doing that we cannot do in these miracle accounts? We’ll take about that today.
Today’s service is led by Pastor Jason Auringer and Seminarian Cody MacMillan
