God didn't give Daniel and his friends the wisdom to reject the Babylonian teaching, but the skill to immerse themselves in it, understand it and master it, but without losing who they truly were. Instead of rejecting our culture, we need to be able to engage with it without being destroyed by it, just like Daniel.
