When you and I humble ourselves in obedience to our Lord's commands for our lives, we can be certain of His wonderful promise--that we will be exited. The way in which the Lord chooses to flesh that out in our lives may be different for each of us, but it is a promise nonetheless. Because Jesus Christ humbled Himself sin a way that you and I will never be able--by leaving His throne and dying for the sins of the world--God has not only exalted Him, but, Paul says, He has given Him the name which is above every name.
