When I reflect over my life as a believer in Jesus Christ, I am ashamed that I have not suffered for my Lord to the extent that my brothers and sisters in other lands have suffered. I also know that I have not suffered like the saints I have read about in the Scriptures. I am sure I am not alone in my meditations regarding suffering. My question to you is: have you ever suffered for Christ's sake, I mean really suffered? A second question I would like you to ponder is this: Who comes to your mind as someone who as suffered for the sake of Christ?
