Paul continues to develop his appeal for humility by reminding his readers that humility is possible, especially considering the example of the Lord Jesus Christ. These verses are some of the most majestic in the Scriptures pertaining to the Person of Jesus Christ. As I read and studied and pondered over them, I was humbled by the love of our Lord in giving Himself for me.
