God reveals Himself to us as “merciful and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.”(Exodus 34)

Do we really believe that?

Not just the idea that God loves us. But that His Son paid for our sins, His Spirit fills us, and His love actually changes our desires?

Francis reminds us that this isn’t about winning arguments or proving points. It’s about wanting the people we love to stand before God full of joy, completely washed clean, and enjoying Him forever.

If that’s what our conversations are aiming toward, everything else can fall in place.
