Leadership is a fascinating subject. It is just fascinating how there can be so much variety in the leadership of men. But for us believers, for Christ followers, for worshippers of the one and only true God, there is only one kind of leadership that can be preeminent. Our God teaches us a kind of leadership that is not natural; it is supernatural. It is a leadership that is very different from that which this world knows about and values. In the final analysis it’s the only kind of leadership that really matters. It is the leadership perfectly embodied in the life of our Savior. It is the kind of leadership that Jesus taught about and insisted upon.
