This song was composed by our friend, Michelle Wellington, in the '70s. It has been one of our favorite songs through the years. The words come from Revelation chapters 19,21, and 22.

Let us be glad and rejoice,
And give honor to Him
For the marriage of the Lamb is come,
And His wife hath made herself ready. (repeat)

And to her was granted that she be arrayed
In fine linen so clean and white;
And the fine linen was the righteousness of saints.
She was clothed in fine linen clean and white;
She was clothed in fine linen clean and white.

And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem
Coming down from God
Out of heaven prepared as a bride;
Adorned for her husband. The angel said,
Come hither, I will show thee the bride,
The Lamb's wife. O let us be glad.
For His wife hath made herself ready.

And her light was like unto a precious stone,
Clear and crystal, the jasper stone,
And there was no need of the sun, nor the moon;
For the glory of God did lighten her,
And the Lamb is the light thereof.

And the Spirit and the bride say come.
And let him that heareth say come.
O blessed are they which are called unto
The marriage supper of the Lamb.
O let us be glad and rejoice in Him,
Giving Him glory, and honor, and praise,
And the Spirit and the bride say, come.
For His wife hath made herself ready,
Yes, and His wife hath made herself ready,
Oh, and His wife hath made herself ready.
