Jesus Took Up Sins
(Hebrews 10:9-18)

The Lord
is the righteous God (Jn 1:18).
Therefore,
His deeds are righteous (1 Pet 2:22-23).
In the Law, there are two goats standing before God.
One is a burnt offering to God and makes atonement,
and another is sent to ‘Azazel’ in the wilderness (Lev 16:6-22).
These are copies of Jesus (Heb 9:10).
Before Jesus was shown to the world (Mk 16:20),
He was first offered to God,
and after He ascended to heaven (Heb 10:12-13),
He no longer remembers the sins of those (Heb 8:12)
who confess them in His name (1 Jn 1:9).
This is because He took up all our unrighteousness (Heb 9:28),
like the sheep that was sent to Azazel (Lev 16:22).
The Holy Spirit testified to this (Heb 10:15),
‘then He adds, “Their sins I will remember no more.”’
As this became the eternal covenant (Heb 8:10)
and the Law of life (Rom 8:1-2),
He wrote this on believers’ hearts and minds (Heb 10:16).
Therefore,
those who believe in repentance believe in Jesus (Acts 3:19-21).
◎ Since Christ offered His body once
and atoned for our sins,
forgiveness comes only from Him.
◎ When we are forgiven, it is the way to life.
We must experience repentance above all experiences.
Experiencing repentance is only found in confession.
◎ Once we confess our sins, we should remember them no more.
This is because the Lord does not remember them.
※ God does bless us.
But there must be repentance before He gives grace and blessings.
The Lord is waiting for repentance.
