Leviticus 19:18 (NLT)
“Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against a fellow Israelite, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord."

I told you this week was love and family. Here we go with the Old Testament! This is addressing the sadness and disharmony in the community. Which I think we are heavy enough in right now. So many people, feel so many negative ways with their neighbors and even people they have considered as friends. Slander, hurt and hate are prevalent right now - it is easier to house and nurture your anger thank to forgive. But in this verse, it is a command. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR as yourself. In fact, you have to love yourself and the Lord to truly love others. Do something great for someone else as you would for yourself! This verse closes with 'I am the LORD.' It's a command so there is no question. Execute. Do it.
