“For to me the people of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.” (Leviticus 25:55 NRSV)
Lord, thank you for your redemption. You paid the price and brought us out from the bondage of slavery of sin. Now we are free to love you and worship you, Lord. Jesus, you said “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, and you will find rest for your souls.” We are so tired from worries of life, pressure from jobs, and concerns of the future. It seems we become the salves of works. Lord, help us to take your yoke, not our own plans, agendas, or preferences. Lord, we sorry for the times that we didn’t listen to you but follow the world. Forgive us, Lord. Lord, you are our master who is gentle and kind. And, you are the king of kings, who has the highest authority and is in control everything. In you, we have peace. In you, we find rest. In you, we see the future. In Jesus name. Amen.
