Today’s Verse: Matthew 14:23 (NKJV)
“And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.”

Even Jesus, the Son of God, needed time alone with His Father. Before major decisions, after long days of ministry, and in the quiet of the night, He withdrew to pray. If Jesus needed solitude with the Father, how much more do we?

In our noisy, distracted world, being still before God is difficult but essential. When we turn off every distraction and sit quietly in His presence, our souls begin to settle, our hearts begin to listen, and we sense the nearness of God in ways that words cannot describe.

So today, make time to be alone with Him. Step away from the noise. Pray, listen, and rest in His presence. In the stillness, He will renew your strength, give you peace, and remind you that you are His.
