Today's Verse: Song of Solomon 2:16 (NKJV)
"My beloved is mine, and I am his."

In a world of broken vows, disposable relationships, and shallow definitions of love, this verse shines like a pure light. "My beloved is mine, and I am his" is not about ownership as property, but about the joyful, total giving of one person to another in a covenant of love. In its immediate context, it describes the bond between the Shulamite and Solomon as a wholehearted, exclusive, delighted belonging. On a deeper level, it pictures the security believers have in the Lord: He has given Himself for us, and we belong to Him.

So today, pray that your life, your relationships, and your home would become a living testimony that "my beloved is mine, and I am his," and that others looking on would see in you a different kind of love, sacrificial, secure, and rooted in the heart of God.
