Today’s Verse: Philippians 4:4 (NKJV)
“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” 

The world chases happiness like it’s the main thing in life, but happiness is thin and temporary. It disappears the moment pain, loss, grief, or injustice show up. But God doesn’t command us to be happy about everything; He calls us to something deeper: “Rejoice in the Lord always.” Joy is not built on how you feel, but on what you know to be true about God.

So today, don’t wait for everything in your life to feel light and easy before you rejoice. Fix your heart on the unshakable realities of who Jesus is and what He’s done, and choose to rejoice in Him right in the middle of whatever you’re facing.
