Today’s Verse: Revelation 21:27 (NKJV)
“But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” 

Heaven is holy, and God makes it very clear: nothing defiled, deceptive, or rebellious will ever enter there. The only ones who do are those “written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” Scripture speaks of more than one book in heaven. There is the book of remembrance, the book of life, and the Lamb’s Book of Life. Every person born into this world has their name in the book of life, but only those who are born again have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. That is how your name is kept from being blotted out: by turning from your sin and personally trusting Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior, and God, according to the Scriptures, not just by watching sermons, liking “religious” content, or assuming you’re okay because you go to church.

So today, make sure you are not just familiar with Jesus, but truly born again. Ask the Lord to confirm by His Word and His Spirit that you belong to Him, that you’ve trusted in His death and resurrection and not in your own goodness or religious background.
