Jesus said “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” Christians in this age do not seem to think about the “End Times” or the “Rapture” until now! It’s safe to say that it’s time to start taking the “End Times” seriously so that we all are “Rapture Ready”! In this study we will take a look at what the word of God says concerning the “Last Days”. In “The End Times” we will hear of wars and uprisings, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. All these are the beginning of birth pains. With this current outbreak of COVID-19 we can see these happening now and can see these things escalate. If COVID-19 is not brought under control and further severe outbreaks ensue, how do you see things playing out? Do you think it’s possible that a pestilence like COVID-19 can possibly lead to famines, and global wars? When things begin to unravel on the earth, are we to live in fear? If not, what are we supposed to do? We must “standing up” and “lifting our heads” because our salvation is at the door! Our push as a ministry is to make sure we have an intimate relationship with God so that each of us is “Rapture Ready”! Jesus said in Luke 21:31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.” As these last days unfold, we should be extremely careful or our hearts will be weighed down and that day could close on us suddenly like a trap. Regardless of what happens, we can be the generation who has given themselves to Christ, ready for our eternal destiny with God! It is time! AMEN!
