The church Hebrews was written for didn't feel safe in their city, and they were looking for shelter and refuge. But Hebrews told them they would not find ultimate safety or shelter anywhere in this world. "We are looking for the city that is to come," Hebrews says. That is our ultimate safety. During this time of uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic, people are also looking for a place of safety and security. Safety is found in Christ alone, the author and finisher of our faith, who is leading us home to the City of God.
