The book of Ruth is a story about a woman who lost everything. Everything she knew of God has been stripped away. Her Sunday school faith was not able to bear the burden of real life. She had to learn what real faith and love looked like in the real world. In this sermon, we'll learn that love is birthed in commitment, refined through hardship, and flourishes on the journey.
