Loving Discipline of The Heavenly Father
Children of God are Disciplined to be Holy

Discipline is not enjoyable. Whether you are corrected by discipline like a wayward child, or strengthened by discipline like an athlete in training, it is not enjoyable. BUT, it has great rewards. God disciplines His children. It is an expression of His love and provides the benefits of life, holiness, and the peaceable fruit of righteousness. We, as Christians, should receive His discipline and be assured in our hearts that He is our God.
