Introduction: God reclaiming the lost to Himself through the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross is the meta-narrative of the Scriptures. All the Scriptures, lead to one great truth: God is seeking to save the lost. This parable is an example of God’s work to save those who are helpless to save themselves.
