Today we will see the birth of John the Baptist as his father Zachariah regains the ability to speak again. Because of Zachariah's disbelief when the Angel Gabriel told him he would have a son -- God disciplined him with the inability to speak. Today we will talk about God's discipline and how we have choices in our lives -- to obey and live a life of peace and contentment or disobey and live with the consequences. Today we see Zachariah open his mouth with praise to God for allowing him to be the father to the man who would introduce the Messiah to a nation in waiting.
