"The offensive doctor" - The inclusivity of Jesus in his willingness to offer salvation to the most unlikely of people led people to want to murder him. The reason people hated Jesus’ inclusivity was on account of those he excluded – namely, those who refused to turn back to God. In a culture where being ‘inclusive’ is considered so high a virtue, Jesus’ ‘exclusive inclusivity’ is surprisingly offensive.
