In this episode, Jesus forgives the sins of a paralytic. The local religious teachers are incensed and call it blasphemy because only God can forgive sins. Jesus asks them which is easier, forgiving sins or healing a paralytic. Then gives them proof of his authority to forgive sins by healing the paralytic.
