Mark 10:24 either on its own, or when pitched in v. 23 and 25 and the conversation with the "certain ruler", becomes a (surprisingly) serious attack on the deity of Jesus Christ. He is portrayed in the corruptions as inconsistent, flawed, and distinctly human like... yet we know, God (manifested in the flesh as Jesus Christ) is not the author of confusion. The corruptions disagree - unsurprisingly.
