Why is it the most important thing in your life?

Many times, as Christians we get so caught up in the details of WHAT we are supposed to do, and HOW we are supposed to do it that we forget the most important part of Christianity. The most important part of Christianity is WHY we do what we do.

This was the main problem with Judaism in the first century. Many Jews were so busy emphasizing all the details of WHAT they were supposed to do and HOW they were supposed to do it that they forgot WHY they were supposed to do it.

When the teacher of the law asked Jesus, “What is the greatest commandment?” Jesus used that question as an opportunity to redirect us back to the most important thing.
