Over two-thirds (25 words!!!) of Matthew 27:35 disappear in the modern corrupted perversions or, at best and as usual, are relegated into the footnotes. 25 words REMOVED!!! Fulfillment of prophecy (In this case Psalm 22:18) was and indeed is extremely important. To remove even one destroys his rightful claim to be the Christ. It may seem very innocent to some but think about that last statement. If he fails to fulfill one prophecy out ten what would your natural conclusion be? Still happy with your NIV? NKJV?
