On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Memorizing passages from the Bible is an important part of our walk with Jesus. It draws us closer to Jesus, teaches us much wisdom, and helps us battle through life - including the spiritual battles. Jesus often referenced scripture, and as we follow him so should we.
