We can feel absolutely powerless when circumstances seem against us, when other people seem to have a leg-up around us and when we are desperate for help but are not receiving it in the way that we want. The same could be said for the man at the Pool in Bethesda, a place where “invalids” gathered according to the text. Where no one healthy or “clean” dared set foot, Jesus walked-in! Even in desperate times, Jesus engages and gives healing. Today, we’ll reflect on the implications of t his text with our everyday Christian life.

Today’s service is led by Pastor Jason Auringer, Pastor Tom Roma and Seminarian Cody MacMillan
