Welcome dear brothers and sisters. Here we are with a new daily bible study. 2 verses today. Here you can find the text I'm reading.

Titus 3:4-5, "But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, ...”

Interesting points:
1. This verse explains the origin of each believer’s transformation from immoral to righteous living: God Himself. Specifically, change is brought on by the kindness and love of God, our Savior. As Ephesians 2:8–9 reminds us, God alone is the reason for the changed life of a believer.

2. This verse tells us God's kindness and love "appeared", referencing the moment each person believes in Jesus by faith and is saved.
Verses 4–7 are frequently arranged as poetry in most edited Greek texts. This statement includes all three persons of the Trinity concluding in Verse 7. Here God the Father and the Holy Spirit are specifically mentioned as Savior and ongoing transformer from our old sinful selves to a new creation through the constant renewing of our minds and hearts reminiscent of Romans 12:2.

Application.
Brothers, what a powerful reminder that God chose sovereignly to show mercy on each of us and rescue us from certain spiritual death, sending Jesus Christ to bridge the gap caused by sin to reconcile us to Him, and the Holy Spirit to work within us so that we can finally learn to overcome our sinful nature!
May we never lose heart when we stumble or even fall into sin even as we press closer to God. May we take comfort knowing His mercy provided a means to save us from sin by spiritual rebirth and the on going renewal by the Holy Spirit restores our footing on the Truth as we get into His Word each day.
