It's easy to dismiss, ignore, or even hate the city. With the pride, crime, corruption, racial dividing lines, and suffering found so often, the approach by many, sadly even in the Christian world, has been to flee the city. The fact is that half of the world's population now lives in the city, and the figure will rise to eighty percent by the middle of the century. So if we dismiss the city as Christians, we damn half the world that God so loves. Study Jeremiah 29 with Pastor Joshua and see what our prayer should be for the city, and how Christians should be called to the city God has placed them in. Churches can be IN the city, AGAINST the city, OF the city, or FOR the city.
