In this brief section, we are told of the various identities people think Christ might be. Peter, actually gets it right but what does it mean for Jesus to be the Christ or Anointed One and why were people so slow in recognizing this truth? There are many who are still mistaking who Jesus is with someone else but unless you see Jesus as the Christ you are just as mistaken as those in His own day.
