In the opening chapters of Acts, Jesus gives His disciples a mission so big that if God wasn’t in it, it would surely fail. And as the Holy Spirit descended upon the early church, it sparked a movement that altered the course of history. This movement began in homes with individuals who willingly followed God's lead to live boldly. These homes were filled with people whose faith was not just talk, but action - demonstrated through dynamic community, intentional meals, radical generosity and consistent, earnest prayer. The result? God moved. But more than that, their generosity moved. Acts 2:44-45 shows us a community so transformed by the Gospel that they freely shared everything they had. This radical generosity became a powerful testimony, drawing others to the faith. As we begin this series, our prayer is simple - we want to see God move, and we want our generosity to move with Him. We aim to ready ourselves, set our focus, and move with the same power, purpose, and open-handed generosity that marked the early church.
