Paul emphatically states the message found throughout Philippians, Rejoice, I say it again, rejoice. Remember Paul wrote these words as he sat in a cell, likely chained to a guard. The authorities could restrain his body, but they could not restrain his joy. Paul will help us to step farther into a life of peace and joy and leave anxiety and worry behind. For the Christ follower peace is not just a remote possibility, but a promise.
