Bill Cooper: “... the Book of Daniel was written in both Hebrew and Aramaic [2:4-7:28], as was the Book of Ezra (in Aramaic from 4:8-6:18 & 7:12-26) and a solitary Aramaic verse in Jeremiah (10:11). Now there was only one period of time in the entire history of the Jews when Hebrew and Aramaic were used together in the same book of Scripture, and that was in the 6th century BC.
