On Resurrection Sunday, the disciples received the inbreathed Spirit from the resurrected Christ, marking the beginning of their new life in Him. This was only the first phase of a glorious promise fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost when the glorified Christ poured out the Holy Spirit to dwell within His people.
