Title: Open Doors
Text: Revelation 3:7-10
Ezra 1:1
Matthew 22:21
2 Corinthians 6:14
Hebrews 10:24-25
One of the attributes that makes God incomparable is that He is all knowing.
God can make adequate and accurate decisions and judgements based on His knowledge. With all human intellectual, we can still make mistakes, but God will never make a mistake - 1 Corinthians 1:25.
God can decide to lose a battle in order to win a war.
Sometimes a delay is not a denial. Its just because God wants to do something greater and bigger.
It is clearly established that God can make a way where there is no way. He can create a door where there is no door. He can bring forth an opportunity in a hostile environment - Isaiah 43:19.
We need to see God the way He wants us to see Him, that He can do anything at anytime and anyhow but sometimes our understanding limits us.
If what we are asking does not exist, God can create it.
It is not a problem for God to open doors because God Himself is the door so it is easy for Him to do what He wants to do.
If God decides to leave someone alone, that person is finished.
Those that make God secondary after an open door are more likely to stranded at the next door.
If God really wants to help you, He will give you the grace to think about Him first and once you do that, there is no length that God can't go with you.
God loves fellowship. If you do something in support of your relationship with God, God will defend His name.
God will not open doors that contradict Himself or His Word.
God needs you. He will not bring opportunities to make more money at the expense of relationship with Him.
There are some opportunities from the devil that are designed to break you from your source.
When you get everything you want you will discover that you don't want everything that you get however, there is no amount of God you can have that you can't enjoy.
Faith comes by hearing the word of the Lord.
How do we engage God to open doors for us
1) Acknowledge that God owns everything - Psalm 24:1-2, 1 Corinthians 10:26, Exodus 9:29, Deuteronomy 10:14, 1 Chronicles 29:11, Job 41:11.
2) Fear Him - Being afraid of God is the beginning of wisdom - Psalm 25:14.
3) Ask God with good motives because Heaven goes for the highest bidder - James 4:1-3.
4) Be faithful to God in your service and vows - Numbers 30:1-2.
