Transformation doesn’t come from striving, but comes as we surrender to the work of the Lord in us. Peter denied Christ, but just days later after being filled with the Spirit, boldly preached to a crowd and 3000 people were saved. The Apostle Paul went from murdering followers of Christ to passionately preaching the Gospel and laying down his life after encountering Jesus Christ. Paul taught on walking in power as we demonstrate the Gospel. Power comes through encounters with the Presence and power of God; being continually filled with the Holy Spirit. As we seek and hunger for God, He will fill and empower us.
