Why does God save some and not others? What purpose does the Potter have in making vessels both to honor and to dishonor? What is the fruit of God's freedom in all that Paul has argued for in vv. 9-21? According to our text, it is "in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory" (9:23).
