Everyone’s chasing something. The world says, *“Find your identity in what you do. Build a legacy. Be remembered.”* It sounds noble, even inspiring. But over time, it wears the soul down. It’s a trap—tying our worth to achievements, applause, or reputation. But the truth of the gospel cuts through all of that. Our identity isn’t found in performance or success. At the core, we are children of God. That’s not just a comforting thought—it’s reality. It’s who we *are*.

And that truth is staggering. The King of the universe—holy, perfect, glorious—loved us enough to give us the right to be called His children. That’s not something earned. It’s a gift. An adoption into a kingdom we didn’t deserve. And once that settles in our hearts, everything changes.
